Brisa Ballet Folklorico

BREEZE HILL AWARDED $1,000 GRANT TO SUPPORT BALLET FOLKLORICO

The Breeze Hill Ballet Folklorico, "Brisa", was recently awarded a generous $1,000 grant from the Vista Save the Music Foundation. Brisa coordinators, Michelle DelVal and Leslie Esquibel, applied for the grant with the hopes of procuring funding to help pay for dance costume accessories. Brisa already has wonderful dance costumes from a variety of states in Mexico including Jalisco, Vera Cruz, Aguascalientes, Nuevo Leon, and Guerrero which were purchased through a previously awarded grant. However, funding was needed to buy dance shoes to complete the outfits.

Breeze Hill is ecstatic to have received this generous grant. On behalf of the students, staff and faculty of Breeze Hill, we thank the Vista Save the Music Foundation for their support of our Ballet Folklorico program.
