Principal's Message

Dear Coyote Community,

It is an honor to continue serving as Principal of the BEST SCHOOL IN THE UNIVERSE—Breeze Hill Elementary! As we gear up for the 2026–27 school year, I look forward to building on the incredible momentum we’ve created together and continuing to connect with our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families.

Our focus this year is "Beyond the Surface: Deepening the Possibility." We are diving into a fantastic theme guided by a powerful principle: "If Students Do the Thinking and Talking, Learning Deepens." This year, our classrooms will be vibrant hubs of discussion and exploration, where the student voice takes center stage to unlock deeper potential in every child.

At Breeze Hill, our mission remains clear: to educate, inspire, and empower all students to thrive in an ever-changing global society. We continue to embrace a whole-child approach—focusing not only on academic excellence but on the social, emotional, and creative growth of each student.

To support that creative growth, we are thrilled to increase our Visual Arts program this year to include weekly art instruction for our students! Alongside our wonderful music programs, choir, and band, this expanded access to the visual arts will ensure every Coyote has regular opportunities to enhance their creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression.

Beyond the classroom, we are fiercely committed to building and celebrating our family engagement. A strong partnership between home and school is what makes our pack thrive. We are so excited to continue building community this year through our beloved Lunch on the Lawns, student concerts, community gatherings, and interactive campus events. When families and schools partner, our pack grows stronger.

Our core foundation remains rock-solid. Our teachers will continue meeting students where they are through Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and differentiated instruction. We will also continue providing dedicated social-emotional learning with our counselor, our weekly running club, our YMCA recess partnership, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) aligned with our four guiding pillars: Welcome, Do No Harm, Choice Words, and Never Too Late to Learn.

Please help ensure your child’s success by supporting daily attendance, staying engaged, and getting involved. Join our PTA, School Site Council (SSC), English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), or find another way to connect.
