Principal's Message
Dear Coyote Community,
It is an honor to continue serving as Principal of the BEST SCHOOL IN THE UNIVERSE—Breeze Hill Elementary! As we gear up for the 2025–26 school year, I look forward to building on the incredible momentum we’ve created together, and continuing to connect with our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families.
At Breeze Hill, our mission remains clear: to educate, inspire, and empower all students to thrive in an ever-changing global society. We will continue to embrace a whole-child approach—focusing not only on academics but on the social, emotional, and creative growth of each student.
We are excited to expand our Visual and Performing Arts program this year. Every TK–5 student will benefit from weekly music instruction through our new full-time music teacher. In addition, we are launching extended opportunities in choir and band for our 4th and 5th grade students. A visual arts teacher will also be joining our team to further enhance creativity and self-expression across all grade levels.
Our teachers remain committed to meeting students where they are through Universal Design for Learning, differentiated instruction, and flexible grouping. Students will continue to engage in meaningful lessons that amplify their voice and choice—upholding Breeze Hill’s tradition of academic excellence.
Beyond the classroom, we’re growing strong, well-rounded Coyotes. We will continue providing social-emotional learning with our counselor, a weekly running club, and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) aligned with our four guiding pillars: Welcome, Do No Harm, Choice Words, and Never Too Late to Learn. We are also thrilled to continue offering extended learning opportunities like tutoring, arts club, math club, reading club, athletics, and so much more.
This coming year, we’re proud to continue our partnership with the YMCA, who will support students through activities that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and physical wellness during lunch recess.
As always, we can’t do this without you. Please help ensure your child’s success by supporting daily attendance, staying engaged, and getting involved. Join our PTA, School Site Council (SSC), English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC), or find another way to connect. When families and schools partner, our pack grows stronger.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Here’s to another amazing year at Breeze Hill!
Sincerely,
David Reese
