POSITION DESCRIPTIONS

Morning Duties

  1. Upper Cage Crosswalk (closest to road)

  2. Upper Cage Crosswalk (closest to cage)

  3. Bottom of Stairs

  4. First Cage Position

  5. Second Cage Position

  6. Bus Access & Whistle (2 whistles for incoming buses & 3 whistles for dismissal @ 8:00)

  7. Kindergarten Buses & Monitor- Pick up kindergarten bus riders and walk them to the kinder line-up area (by K-1) and stay with them until dismissal.

  8. Kindergarten Buses & Monitors- Pick up kindergarten bus riders and walk them to the kinder line-up area (by K-1) and stay with them until dismissal.

  9. Kindergarten Lines-1) Monitor kindergarten line by flagpole. 2) When the gate opens walk them over by K-1, then come back to the front of the school to walk TK/Kinders to the kinder line. Keep doing this until the 2nd bell.

  11. Flags & Cafeteria (Breeze Way by MPR-if it's raining) 1. Put flags up. 2. Help in the cafeteria.

  13. Walkie Talkie, 1st- 2nd Line & Playground- (MPR-if it's raining) 1. Pick up walkie talkie from office to give to the teacher on bus duty. 2. Monitor morning line up and playground. 3. Take the walkie talkie back to the office at the first bell.

  14. 1st-2nd Line & Playground (MPR-if it's raining) 1.Monitor morning line-up. 2 Go to lower grade playground and stay there until they are dismissed. 3. Help with dismissal & monitor the 100 & 200 wing.

  15. 1st-2nd Line & Hallway (MPR-if it's raining) 1. Monitor morning line-up. 2. After students are on the playground stay in the first grade hallway by the corner of room 103/201 to monitor the 100 & 200 wings.

  16. 1st & 2nd Line & Hallways & Bathroom (MPR-if it's raining) 1. Monitor morning line-up. 2. After students are on the playground monitor the lower grade bathroom and the areas around the bathroom.

  17. Walkie Talkie 3rd- 5th Line & Playground (MPR-if it's raining)1. Pick up walkie talkie from office to give to the teacher on bus duty. 2. Monitor morning line up and playground. 3. Take the walkie talkie back to the office at the first bell.

  18. 3rd - 5th Line & Playground (MPR-if it's raining) 1. Monitor morning line up. 2. Follow students to the upper grade playground and remain there until they are dismissed. 3. Walk students to 500 wing and monitor them.

  19. 3rd - 5th Line & Hallways & Bathroom (MPR-if it's raining) 1. Monitor morning line up. 2. After students are on the playground walk around the upper grade bathrooms and the 300/400 wings.

  20. Ball Cart & Floater-1. Take the ball cart from the lower grade playground and roll it to the upper grade playground. 2. Help as needed

Afternoon Duties

  1. Upper Cage Crosswalk (closest to road)

  9. Sidewalk area in between the Upper East Parking Lot and the flagpole

  10. Sidewalk area in between the Upper East Parking Lot and the flagpole

  11. Flags-1. Monitor the Breezeway, entrance & flagpole area. 2. Take flags down after most students have been dismissed.

  13. Lower Cage West

  14. Lower Cage East

  15. Upper Cage

  16. Upper Cage

  17. Monitor Bus Riders. After students are on the buses, assist in cages as needed.

  20. Floater-Fill in for positions 1-8 if needed. If not, help in cages.

REMINDERS:

Please be on time in the morning. (7:25-7:30)

If you are going to be absent, please arrange for a sub.
