Principal's News

Hello Breeze Hill Families,

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself as the new Principal at Breeze Hill Elementary School. I am honored to be the leader of such a dynamic and talented team of teachers, instructional assistants, and support staff who are committed to providing our students with rigorous, engaging, and supportive learning experiences. I look forward to partnering with our staff and families to ensure that our students are challenged, supported, respected, and provided the knowledge and tools they need to become college and career ready. I am excited to be leading such an amazing school with students, staff, parents, and community who truly care about education and the well-being of our students.

I’ll first start by sharing a little about myself. I grew up in Riverside County, attending school in San Bernardino. In 2003, I received a teaching credential and in 2008 a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University. I started teaching in Moreno Valley and while there I taught 4th and 5th grades. In 2013, I started work as the Assistant Principal in Hemet Unified School District for four years. While an Assistant Principal, I  focused on working with the PBIS teams, SST team, and AVID team to foster a positive school environment, provide timely interventions and support to students, and ensure high quality teaching and learning.

In 2017, I became a Principal in Hemet Unified for 4 years. While there, I developed a MTSS platform to support students in their academics, behavior, and socio-emotional needs, maintained community ties, and was on several district committees.

My wife and I have two daughters, ages 13 years old and 11 years old. We enjoy traveling, hiking, going to the beach, and being together as a family. We recently moved to North County this month and are looking forward to becoming part of the community and experiencing all of the cultural opportunities that this amazing county has to offer.

Some things that I am deeply passionate about include:
Creating a school culture where every student feels connected and valued.
Working closely with families as a team to provide the very best support for students.
Ensuring our Special Education students are in the Least Restrictive Environment and receive high quality support and instruction.
Building on the strengths of all students to reach their full potential.

The Breeze Hill PTA is an integral partner in our successful school program and your child would not receive the topnotch educational experience without the PTA’s support. They generously provide us with funds and volunteers to maintain our educational efforts (i.e. field trips, assemblies, festivals, etc.). Please consider joining the Breeze Hill PTA this year and support their efforts to provide the best possible experience for our students; or better yet, join the PTA executive board and attend the monthly meetings and become part of the decision making process. Your support is so greatly appreciated!

Breeze Hill Elementary School is dedicated to educating, inspiring, and empowering all students to succeed in a changing global society. It is my hope that students, staff, parents, and the Breeze Hill community work together to maintain a positive environment that empowers all students to reach their full potential and make meaningful connections.

Thank you for your continued support of Breeze Hill Elementary School, and I look forward to a successful school year!

Sincerely,

Greg Giroux

Assistant Principal's News

Hello Breeze Hill Coyote Families!

I am thrilled to have been asked to come back to Breeze Hill as the Assistant Principal again!  I have been busy working on some projects at the district and other schools this year,
but always with the notion that should Breeze Hill need an AP again, I would love to be considered. Last week, the district needed someone to come in 3/4 of the year with Ms. Brown being asked to go to Madison Middle School and I am ecstatic that they thought of me. I never realized how much I would miss the students!  I am thrilled to return "home" and be part of the Coyote pack once again!

Thank you for the warm welcome,
Letty Cimino
