School Counselor

Hello Breeze Hill Families,

My name is Tiffany Daines, and I am so happy to serve as the school counselor at Breeze Hill Elementary. In Vista Unified, elementary school counselors cultivate a strength-based culture that empowers all students to grow as independent learners. Our purpose is to educate, collaborate, advocate, and nurture the whole child by providing academic support, building social-emotional skills, and fostering awareness of college and career pathways.

At Breeze Hill, I support students through classroom lessons that teach essential social-emotional skills, short-term individual and small group counseling, and collaboration with staff and parents around student success in academics, attendance, and social-emotional development. My objective is always to help students overcome barriers to learning so they can thrive.

I am also excited to share that our counseling center, The Coyote Den, is located on the backside of the library. The Coyote Den is a welcoming and safe space where students can come to build skills, talk through challenges, and access resources to support their well-being. It is a place designed to empower students, foster resilience, and remind them that they are never alone in their journey.

👉 Parents may also submit a request for assistance if their child is experiencing an Academic Need, Attendance Need, Social-Emotional Concern, Behavioral Need, or Health/Basic Need.
